Team Lead Recruiter

Purpose of the Position:

The Lead Recruiter is a contributing manager and will be responsible for managing a team of Recruiters and Resource Specialists. The purpose of the role is to ensure that client positions are filled with high-quality candidates and that the candidate pipeline is continuously growing and reflects the talent that clients are requesting.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the recruiting team through daily goal setting and individual accountability.
  • Provide oversight for all recruiting activities including; sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiations and candidate management.
  • Ensure that all recruiters are following procedure regarding data collection and communication.
  • Manage recruiters to ensure continuous communication with candidates who are placed on assignment.
  • Work with recruiters, clients and candidates to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Partner with the business development function of EG Life Sciences to ensure on-going candidate pipeline that reflects the client’s needs in both the short and long term.
  • Manage recruiters to ensure that they are continuously improving their industry knowledge for both the recruiting and life science disciplines.
  • Responsible for hiring / training / developing the recruiting team to meet the hiring demands of the division.
  • Attend networking events.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the recruiting industry focusing on professional services
  • 5+years managing a team in the recruiting industry focusing on professional services
  • Exceptional managerial and training skills
  • Independent and able to work with their own direction
  • Team player
  • Highly motivated and ethical
  • Goal oriented to achieve business objectives
  • Well networked within the industry
  • Fast paced and able to adjust quickly to multiple priorities
